Medicine Cabinet

A medicine cabinet for goats:

  1. Rectal thermometer
  2. 3 cc , 6cc, 12 cc, & 35 cc plastic disposable syringes (35 is for drenching)
  3. Needles-1 and 1/2 or 3/4 inch
  4. Weak kid syringe.
  5. Turkey baster for cleaning kids mouths.
  6. Surgical scissors
  7. Surgical gloves
    Comfrey antiseptic salve
  8. 7% tincture of iodine for navel
  9. Corn starch, cob webs or Blood stop powder ~ (even sugar will work in a pinch)
  10. Ginger, Baking Soda , Yogurt , & Slippery Elm for upset rumen
  11. Nutri-Drench, for fast energy, calcium salts and minerals
  12. Yogurt OR Probios anti-stress formula
  13. Herbs for infection: garlic, mustard, thyme, rosemary, oregano, wormwood, comfrey, calendula, eyebright ~(see Herbs we use)
  14. Electrolytes for stress or homemade electrolytes
  15. Cloves, garlic, slippery elm & yogurt, For Coccidia
  16. Herbs for worming : wormwood, black walnut hulls, garlic, cloves, southernwood, DE
  17. Vet wrap for wrapping broken legs, sprains, or holding bandages on
  18. Olive Oil with Calendula, Mullein for wounds.
  19. Olive Oil with Peppermint for udder congestion.
  20. Eyebright, mullein, calendula in Sterile water for eyewash.
  21. Molasses for Iron and energy.
