Due to changes in our lives we have made the difficult decision to stop raising and milking Nubian dairy goats. As a result we are no longer going to be raising Great Pyrenees livestock guardians. With heavy hearts we now place for sale 2 adult males and 2 adult females along with our last litter of pups.

We are open to the possibility of selling the adults as breeding pairs, to a good home that is willing to feed and care for them appropriately, as well as for a fair price for dogs ready to produce and protect. Otherwise we will put them in homes to be spayed / neutered.

Please email us with any questions.

Our Philosophy is simple…

  • Maintain a partnership with our dogs.
  • Breed Great Pyrenees of correct type, large size.
  • Retain mask & black markings as much as possible.
  • Breed Great Pyrenees with Great Character & Temperament.
  • Promote the breed as livestock & family guardians in a responsible manner.
  • Help new owners in teaching and raising their new pups responsibly.

Our Great Pyrenees are purebred, but they are not registered with an association.

When we went looking for a Great Pyrenees we wanted a very large dog for protection from predators, 4 legged & 2 legged for our dairy goats and children. We were also looking for the mask, body, and tail spot color. But even more importantly we were looking for the true Great Pyrenees temperament; calm, loyal, dependable, raised and bonded to livestock, not aggressive to strangers that we allow on and around our property.

After looking for 7 years, we were very excited that God provided us dogs just as we have described. Our foundation female Sequoiah and our foundation male Force have these wonderful qualities. We also added another female, Cortana, she carries color and has an excellent temperament.

We believe that good breeding is not attached to a paper.

To breed a Quality dog takes 4 things.

  1. A love for animals
  2. Hard work.
  3. The best nutrition you can provide.
  4. Dedication

Without these qualities, the animals will not be the awe-inspiring creatures that they have been bred to be.

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

THINGS WE CAN LEARN FROM A DOG ...
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
